Overview :
TP-Link's TL-WR743ND Wireless AP/Client Router is a combined wired/wireless network device, which intergrates the functions of Wireless Access Point, AP Client, firewall, 4-port Switch and NAT-Router. It effectively works as a client device with the support of a WISP, to which local computers can connect via wirelessly or cables. It also features a Quick Security Setup function, making establishing a highly secured wireless connection as a easy as pushing a button on the device's exterior. Better still, TL-WR743ND supports Passive PoE, convenient for thr hardware deployment, especially for places lacking power outlets.
AP Client Router Mode - WISP Client
TP-Link's TL-WR743ND is designed to be set in AP Client Router mode as its default wireless mode to support a WISP connection. When it works as a WISP client device to access the Internet, local computers can connect to TL-WR743ND via wireless or cables. The true value of the TL-WR743ND is that it simultaneously permors the roles of a conventional modem router and a normal access point!
150Mbps Wreless N - Speed & Range
Complying with the IEEE 802.11n standart, the TL-WR743ND can establish a wireless network and get up to 9x the speed and 4x the range of legacy IEEE 802.11g products. With transmisson rates up to 150Mbps, users can experience a more fluid Internet surfing experience, including sharing files, streaming media and making Internet calls.
Passive PoE Support - Flexible Deployment
The TL-WR743ND is equipped with a RJ-45 WAN port, which is designed to support Passive PoE. For users that require a better WISP signal and need to place the device at location without power outlets, such as an attic or garage, the TL-WR743ND will fit the bill flawlessly with up to 30 meter Power over Ethernet capability. Users can easily have the most flexible deployment and not have to be tethered to any outlets!
One Button Security Setup
Compatible with WI-FI Protected Setup™ (WPS), the TL-WR743ND features a Quick Security Setup (QSS) Button that allows users to almost instantly setup the highly secure wireless link simply by pressing the QSS button with no need to remember!
